Ikuei girls lacrosse officially began in 2010 when Everett Mapp arrived in Sendai to build and develop the lacrosse program.
　Using physical education class as a source to recruit players, the team grew slowly and the roster expanded to over 25 members in 2013.
　Veteran, 3rd year players, Hagiuda, and Sato, helped to pioneer and establish the team after struggling with various obstacles throughout their high school career.
　The culture of lacrosse has grown and will continue to grow on a global and local level.  This sport has brought joy into the lives of players and forged relationships, between the adults and players/managers alike.

　仙台育英ラクロス部は、ラクロスをもっと普及させるため、Everett Mapp先生が仙台に降り立った2010年にスタートしました。
　最初は、体育の授業にラクロスを取り入れて部員を募集しながら、チームはゆっくりと成長。2013年の現在は、メンバーの名簿は25人以上に広がっています。
　創設メンバーの2人、萩生田さん（特別進学コース3年・埼玉 鴻巣中出身）と佐藤さん（特別進学コース3年・松島中出身）は3年目のプレーヤーです。彼女たちは新しい部活を立ち上げる中で様々な障害を乗り越え、大きく貢献してくれました。
　ラクロスの文化は、地方レベルはもちろんの事、グローバルに成長し続けるでしょう。 このスポーツは、プレーヤーの人生に喜びを運び、大人たちとプレーヤー・マネージャーとの関係を着実に築いています。
